Welcome to Cuillier Career Center’s Website. We are pleased to have the opportunity to prepare your child to meet the demands of today’s workforce. More students should be taking advantage of this opportunity.
Cuillier Career Center is a career opportunity for all students: those attending college, those going to work immediately following graduation, and those students who have no goals for the future. Cuillier gives students an opportunity to obtain a job or explore a field related to the career they will be choosing in college.
Our students are eagerly learning the safety requirements related to their program and applying the skills learned to hands on activities. Once skills are attained, school based enterprises will begin and at the end of the second nine week period, students will be looking forward to internships.
Parental support is essential to Cuillier’s mission. Our mission states: “Cuillier Career Center will provide the academic and technical skills necessary to prepare all students for the world of work “. You are a part of the community mentioned in our mission statement. We would truly appreciate your assistance with the following:
- Attend PTO meetings
- Complete school surveys
- Communicate with teachers when there is a question or problem.
- Attend Parent/Teacher conferences
- Read the school and parish handbooks
- Read the school newsletters
- Make sure the school has accurate contact information
- Set goals and discuss expectations with your child
- Support student activities
- Reinforce school rules
- Volunteer whenever time allows
